A man is driving down a road past a mental institution when suddenly, his rear tire bumps up against something. It's mild enough not to puncture the tire or damage the car, but the tire, hub cap, and all the lug nuts fall off it and the lug nuts scatter out of sight. All this time, some inmates are watching from behind the gate of the mental institution. The man says to himself out loud, "Now, how am I going to get home if I can't get the wheel put back together and held up with the lug nuts?" A mental patient replies, "Just take one lug nut from each of the wheels so that you have three lug nuts on all of them." The driver looks in astonishment and says "Wow, with ideas like that, what are you committed in here for?" The patient replies, "I'm crazy, not stupid!"
Did anyone else not get this? Maybe I'm slow. :-)
